One week until Christmas?!
Tons of easy & delicious holiday recipes, Broccolini favs, last minute gifts and cookie boxes!
I realize I’m sending this a bit late, but I cannot be the only one who is absolutely shocked that Christmas is in a week??? How did that happen? I actually have bought zero gifts so I will be shopping all weekend long. If you’re a bit behind like me, I hope my holiday recipes can come in handy to help take at least one thing off your plate.
I also put together some last minute gifts if you are relying on Amazon Prime to check off everyone on your list like I am. Oops. There’s fun stocking stuffers, kitchen essentials that I have and love, and just an assortment of good gifts that someone would actually use and want (or at least I think so).
I really hope everyone can enjoy some rest and relaxation over the holidays and I hope you have an incredible last 2 weeks of 2024!!
New recipes I am loving
Winter Greens Salad With Cranberry Orange Vinaigrette: A salad that is full of vibrant flavors and textures that make each bite so satisfying. It gets more flavorful as it sits, so feel free to prepare it a few hours before dinner!
Slow Cooker Red Wine Short Ribs: You can’t really beat a slow cooker meal that tastes like it was made in a five star restaurant. I recommend serving over my Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes!
Upside-Down Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry Tarts: These versatile puff pastry tarts can be made for a cheesy appetizer or even as a little savory breakfast tart!
Roasted Sweet Potatoes With Brown Butter, Goat Cheese & Crispy Herbs: Flavorful sweet potato side dish with brown butter, crispy fried herbs, and goat cheese. Absolute perfection!
Steak, Blue Cheese & Caramelized Onion Crostini: These steak, blue cheese, and caramelized onion crostini are a showstopper! Crispy baked baguette slices are topped with funky blue cheese, sweet caramelized onions, and tender slices of steak seasoned with Harmony All Purpose Blend. Top it off with a little arugula, olive oil, and Harmony Citrus Finishing Salt for a bright, citrusy finish. Grab your Harmony Starter Pack here!
Pumpkin Chai Banana Pudding: You know that famous banana pudding from Magnolia Bakery in NYC? Imagine that, but mixed with the flavors of a pumpkin chai latte. It’s so easy to make, but sophisticated enough for a dinner party (and yes everyone will be begging you for the recipe).
Broccolini Favs
Red Wine Braised Beef Stew: The most comforting and flavorful meal. Don’t be intimidated by how much time it takes, a lot of the “cooking” time is it just chillin out in the oven! Tastes even better the next day so it is perfect to make the night before for Christmas Eve dinner when you are busy wrapping presents. Pair with crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce!
Brie Pull Apart Bread: Rosemary, Garlic + Honey: What could be better than melty brie and bread? Top it with some garlic, rosemary and honey and you have perfection. Definitely a crowd pleaser and it’s too simple to make.
Millionaire Mac & Cheese: This has been one of the most popular recipes I have ever made for a reason! The best Mac & Cheese you will ever have.
Miso Braised Short Ribs With Japanese Sweet Potato Mash: Not your classic choice for a holiday meal, but a delicious, flavorful and cozy one that the Broccolini’s raved about.
Persimmon & Burrata Crostini: All for using what is in season and persimmons are so delicious in December. Up to you if you include the crostini, but the fruity cheesy crunchy combo is a must for me!
Spiced Cranberry Margaritas: The perfect festive, holiday margarita that can be made as a batch cocktail for easy serving. Plus, it’s so cute!
Homemade Holiday Cookie Boxes - Perfect for gifting!
Last year I put together these Holiday Cookie Boxes and they were a major hit! The older I get the more I value a homemade gift. Anyone can order a candle, but spending all day baking delicious treats? That takes effort. You can find the essentials to put the boxes together here and the recipes are linked down below.
Copycat Starbucks Cranberry Bliss Bars: The better baked at home version of the Starbucks cult favorite holiday dessert - everyone wanted this recipe after trying!
Christmas Crunch Toffee Bark: Lovingly referred to as “Christmas Crack,” this one has all the textures, crunches and flavors you want during the holidays.
Gluten Free Pumpkin Pie Snickerdoodles: Everything you love about a classic snickerdoodle, but they are gluten free with the perfect cozy, holiday flair.
Happy baking! xx
So much goodness!! Thank you for all the inspiration! Merry Christmas!❤️💚
Will DEF be making the winter greens salad for my dinner this year! My family loved the Shredded Brussels salad for Thanksgiving. Also, I’ve made zero gift purchases as of yet too so don’t feel bad! ❤️
